NYC RR Brakeman's Lantern metal print by Frank Kapusta. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
A study in Chiaro Scuro, this is example of a Dietz “Vesta” lo-top Lantern that was specifically marked for the New York Central System railroad. Production of the Vesta began in 1896 until it was discontinued in 1960. While in overall great condition, it has been well used as evidenced by the bent condition of the basket. It won’t sit flat or straight. Lot’s of character!
