Artist's Description
New York Central bridge on River Road, Little Falls, NY, USA.
The New York Central Railroad was formed in 1853 through a consolidation of several railroads operating between Albany and Buffalo, NY. The NYC was merged into the Penn Central in 1968. After the Penn Central went bankrupt, it was taken over by the federal government and then merged into Conrail. It was later absorbed by CSX and the Norfolk and Southern RR. The overpass is known as the Wind Bridge so named in honor of a former mayor for the City of Little Falls.
